An academic background in psychology and education underpins my executive leadership coaching methods. I hold a Master of Applied Science in Evidence-Based Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Education, Adult Education, with a Human Resource Development major.
Having launched my career in 2003, coaching has been my calling for over two decades. By 2007 I found my niche in leadership coaching. By 2009, my work included CEO Coaching and C-Suite Coaching, then incorporated Founder Coaching in 2015.
I am the former Director of Professional Standards and then President of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Australasia where I led over 1300 coaches. I studied Coaching Supervision through Oxford Brookes University so am trained to develop other coaches. However, I prefer to work with leaders.
I am a humanistic educator with a nose for, and desire to share, what works. What that means is that we will elicit what is unique about you, so you can lead with that effectively and sustainably. What I want most is for you to know who you are, and be that on purpose.
What impresses me most will be your honesty, introspection, and responsibility, including your willingness to do the reading and the work. If you are ready to see yourself more clearly, act on those insights, and sacrifice comfort for growth, we will be a powerful partnership.
Simply put, if you are sincere about becoming your best and committed to putting in the work, I will be your biggest champion and trusted confidant.
Most of my clients call me Kate. I am an avid reader (literature, non-fiction and research) and traveler who was born and raised in Australia. Happily married, I live in Palo Alto, California. Whilst the San Francisco Bay Area has been my base since 2013, I have lived and worked around the world and appreciate London and Europe above all.
I particularly enjoy working with clients who have a faith of any kind as this deepens the work.
I value wisdom, timelessness, strength, freedom, joy, and love. I am inspired by psychology and human excellence, including mature leadership and acts of courage, the well-written, art, photography, architecture, and design.
I am drawn to the beautiful and the good, or, as it relates to you, quality and integrity.
